HOW STARVING WORKING POOR ARE RECOGNISED ABROAD
If you are hungry one day, you are hungry every day.
If you have no money, you have no money for the meter, so cannot cook your food.
In England, half of women aged 60-66 are within the working poor, on flat-lined wages back to 2002 levels and suffering cut backs on in-work benefits as well as the loss of rightful age state pension payout at 60.

USA DAILY SOUP KITCHENS ARE THEIR FOOD BANKS
In New York there are charities giving cooked meals to lines of the poor every day.
A New York Times article entitled as below, says even some Tories in UK's government privately tell them they know the working poor are the bulk now of those going to food banks.
As the Working Poor Become More Common in Britain, So Does Hunger
What the above New York Times reports is, that there is a food bank in Westminster, in the borough that holds UK's parliament.
And in the article there are people in seasonal work going to the food bank because of delay in processing benefit.
So we have slavery being advocated in England of the under 25s, that includes single mothers having to go to food banks, for no wages (Tories) or minimum wage (Labour - still not enough to pay accommodation costs, heat and eat), through workfare.
GREECE - DAILY SOUP KITCHENS
Over 44% of the Greek population had an income below the poverty line in 2013.
It will only get worse in 2014 as there will be no basic tax allowance and other multiple taxes drive the nation ever further to hunger and want.
In Greece even the middle class is suffering because of the crisis. Soup kitchens and food donations for the needy are being organized - even in fancy suburbs of Athens.
In Athens, Greece, local council employees man the daily soup kitchens, and stay there even if there is an Anti-Austerity protest march and strike.
The middle class in Athens, once owners of inherited little shops in the city centre, now live in parks and eat each day at soup kitchens, only a stone's throw from the parliament.
Around half a million Greeks visit the soup kitchens in Athens daily.
Strange how that number is the same as need food banks in England, but with us these are not daily soup kitchens, but just a bit of food a few times a year.
What happens the rest of the days of the year in the UK?
FRENCH RED CROSS AND SOUP KITCHENS IN EUROPE
The French Red Cross feeds the French every day.
Civil society organisations welcome the new Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived
The Red Cross EU Office welcomes the adoption of the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) by the Council of the European Union on 10 March 2014
The EU states there is a fund that will pay 85 per cent of the costs.

DAILY SOUP KITCHEN IN ITALY
A gourmet delicatessen is donating its surplus food that would otherwise go to landfill, to a daily soup kitchen in a Rome suburb for the Catholic Caritas charity soup kitchens.Italians have cut back on what they can spend on food, whilst 6 million tonnes of food goes to landfill.
The Italian middle class are the new poor and coming to the soup kitchens, eating for example, lunch every day.
So I'm moving to Italy. Gourmet Italian dinners from 30 of some of the best Roman restaurants, bars, patisseries and even the famous tiramisu maker Pompi.
There are schemes in Rome and Florence (Firenze in Italian) with plans to extend to Palermo, Sicily in the future.
Who reported this? A newspaper in the Far East - Taipei News of Taiwan.
DAILY SOUP KITCHEN IN MADRID SPAIN
In Madrid, capital of Spain, the local government has a daily soup kitchen to feed families and pensioners, not the soup kitchens to feed the homeless, but a canteen to feed people on their way to work, who found themselves unable to make ends meet.EU FUNDING FOR FOOD BANKS REJECTED BY PRIME MINISTER CAMERON
Now it may come as a surprise but Prime Minister Cameron is in line for a job next year with the United Nations to deal with world hunger, as shown by his address to the General Assembly of the United Nations back in 2013.Amazingly PM Cameron said in his speech, ...tackle the underlying causes of poverty ... make sure everyone has access to food and water ... promoting free speech.
Well, the gagging law that ends petitions and charitable campaigns is due to come into force in the UK in September.
And the Coalition government has rejected 26.4 million Euros that would have gone to the charitable food banks, staffed by volunteers, that only feed people but 3 times a year in the UK. But what has happened to UK's draw down of only 3.5 million Euros?
Whilst France, the same size as UK in population, that has charities feeding people in daily soup kitchens, will receive 443 million Euros.
UK SOCIAL FUND SCRAPPED IN 2015
The Local Welfare Provision Grant for UK councils to feed, clothe and give shelter for emergency help is axed in 2015.The Social Fund that had been devolved to UK councils has been absorbed into general funding, and councils just tell the starving to go to charitable food banks, that only give official authorisation but 3 vouchers in a year.
SO WHY ARE UK FOOD BANKS NOT THE DAILY SOUP KITCHENS AS ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD AND IN EUROPE ?
As there is funding to feed the working poor every day, and some of the staffing is by local government employees, why is this not being done in England today please?
Just because the Coalition want to deny that sanctions and benefit delays or welfare denials are causing cashless people to starve, so much that some are being admitted to hospital for malnutrition? Is that all? Politics?
So what is Labour doing for the people who voted Labour since its start in around 1906? Generation after generation after generation after generation?
Where are Labour's (and their trade union finance backers) daily soup kitchens for the working class who invented the party and now they ignore and try to chase UKIP's Tory voter.

My Other Hunger Blog Articles:
Food Wasted that could feed every hungry person in whole of UK
WHAT WOULD THE SWANS DO DIFFERENTLY?
- All surplus food from all food businesses would be mandatory donated to the daily soup kitchens that were once the closed down Jobcentres.
- This surplus food would also be part of a meals on wheels service to housebound elderly and disabled / chronic sick.
- Ugly fruit and vegetables from farms would be donated to the daily soup kitchens.
- This saves huge amount of food going to landfill.
- Everyone is feed.
- Social supermarkets are open to those only on benefit. This would end. All social supermarkets would be required to sell to those denied benefit, low income pensioenrs and sell also to the working poor.
- Citizen Wage would replace all benefits.
- Citizen Wage to disabled / chronic sick by medical diagnosis and no other assessments and all that punitive system, that has wasted billions of taxpayers' money and left more than half a million to starve that we know about.
- We do not need money from Europe to achieve this. How then would the Swans fund this?
- By the Swans just walking away from Empire Europe's rules, we save all the billions of contributions to the privileged elite in the EU government, stop paying and giving expenses to our Europe MPs.
- All that money could feed every single man, woman and child that goes hungry today in England.
